24.06.-28.06.2024 I Serfaus-Tirol I World Climate Game meets School on the Farm
Under the motto "Learning, experiencing, and understanding," the classroom is exchanged for the great outdoors, the fields, meadows, and forests. With the exciting and educational World Climate Game, there is a great opportunity to playfully explain pressing environmental issues and the complex interconnections of our modern times. It will be a week full of exciting experiences, new insights, and unforgettable moments in the beautiful nature of Serfaus-Tirol.
17.6.-19.6.2024 | Lower Austria | SZ Ybbs an der Donau plays for a sustainable future!
From June 17th to 19th, 2024, we will be in the beautiful city of Ybbs an der Donau with our World Climate Game! Students from the Ybbs school center will spend three days engaging with the topics of sustainability and climate protection in a playful manner. They will dive into the world of renewable energies, environmentally conscious consumption, and sustainable mobility.
4.6.-6.6.2024 | Vienna | World Climate Game at HTL Wien West – Playfully towards a sustainable society!
At the beginning of June, students from HTL Wien West will have the opportunity to experience the "World Climate Game" live. This board game provides them with a unique chance to step into the shoes of decision-makers for three days and see firsthand the impact their decisions have on the climate and the environment. They can work together to develop solutions, engage in discussions, and understand how their actions shape the future.
10.6.-15.6.2024 | Vienna | Taking Self-Responsibility for a Sustainable Future: The World Climate Game at GRG 21
This time, we are playing at GRG 21! The aim of the game is to raise awareness among students about the necessary measures to combat climate change and create a sustainable future. The interactive simulation allows participants to experience, in a playful way, how decisions impact the climate and the environment. Together, solutions for a sustainable future will be developed.
23.5.-27.5.2024 | Carinthia | Experience climate protection up close: World Climate Game at HBLA Pitzlstätten!
On May 23rd, 24th, and 27th, 2024, the World Climate Game will be played with HBLA Pitzelstätten in Carinthia! Conducted by our partners in Carinthia, the organization Landscape of Knowledge and the Educational Lab: Lakeside Science & Technology Park, this interactive game will bring students closer to the topics of climate change and sustainability in a playful way. For three days, students from the Viennese BHAK22 have actively participated in the World Climate Game. During this time, they have gained valuable experiences and important insights into the impacts of climate change. It is encouraging to see schools like BHAK22 utilizing such innovative and interactive learning opportunities to raise awareness among their students about the challenges of our time.
13.05.-15.05.2024 I Vienna I BHAK 22 Students make a statement for environmental protection!
From May 13th to May 15th, 2024, we will play our innovative board game at BHAK 22 in Vienna. Students from the Business Academy will have the opportunity to step into the roles of decision-makers in politics, business, and civil society for three days and take measures to protect the climate. Through their actions in the game, they can influence the virtual climate change and raise awareness for environmental issues.
23.4.-25.4.2024 | Vienna - World Climate Game goes UNO City Vienna!
We are pleased to announce that the World Climate Game will take place from April 23rd to 25th, 2024 at UNO City Vienna. During this three-day workshop, students will have the unique opportunity to step into the roles of global decision-makers and work together to find solutions to climate change. The "World Climate Game" provides an interactive platform to deepen understanding of climate change, promote teamwork, and develop creative solutions.

22.4.-25.4.2024 | Götzis, Vorarlberg - Learning about the energy transition in a playful way!
The World Climate Game, as an innovative initiative for raising awareness about climate protection and sustainability, kicks off in Götzis. Organized by the Vorarlberg Energy Institute and the Götzis Middle School, the World Climate Game lays an important foundation in environmental education. The workshop makes the climate change and crisis tangible for students in the 4th grade of Götzis Middle School through practical experiences and approaches the topic in a playful manner.

Together with the Energy Institute Vorarlberg, Raiffeisen is hosting the four-day World Climate Game, which is already in full swing. Employees of Raiffeisen banks in Vorarlberg and students from the BRG & BORG Dornbirn Schoren are experiencing, in a playful way, how the challenges of climate change are embedded in complex relationships and interdependencies.

20.2.-23.2.2024 I Lienz und Wien - Play for a sustainable future!
In the penultimate week of February, the World Climate Game was played twice! Once at the Lienz HAK 1A and then in Vienna at the GRG XII Erlgasse! The students immersed themselves in the world of sustainability and environmental education. They contributed their creative ideas to combat the climate crisis and playfully developed solutions for the current challenges of our time!
